The Poshehonka is a portable wood stove for the usage outdoors or in suitable tents.
The low weight and small volume make it possible to transport the Posehonka on a pulka or to carry it for a while. It is easy to handle and reliably heats smaller tents or mobile saunas.
What distinguishes this stove is its permanent airtightness. The burnup can be slowed down so that unusually long running firing times can be achieved with one filling. The efficiency is thus increased from ~ 20% to ~ 30% in normal tent stoves to ~ 70% to 80% in a Poshehonka stove.
This happens because the exhaust gases are cooled down very much before they leave the exhaust pipes.
For you this means: Environmentally friendly operation, less fuel consumption, less frequent replenishment.
Leakage of the combustion products inside the tent is excluded due to the very dense design of the stove, and the fact that during the burn-off a negative pressure exists inside the stove.
The smooth surface of the Poshehonka is suitable for cooking and snow melting. For transport, all attachments and the exhaust pipes are safely stowed in the body of the stove (depends on number of additionally ordered pipes). A pannier is included.
The Poshehonka size S is optionally available as a basis version without shields, with removable or with fixed shields. The shields can prevent worse injuries and material damage, but you have to keep in mind, that they will warm up non the less.
The fixed shields reqire more space during the transport and increase the transport weight, but the back of the stove is better protected, and the stoves are distinctly more stable.
The stove is handmade in Rybinsk (Russia) out of stainless steel. It is an object of utility, weld points and seams are only rudimentary neated.
Appearance is thereby rather rustic, and there may be some sharp edges.
The manufacturer declares the lifetime of the Poshehonka at least with 7 years in seasonal operation. One randomly chosen stove has been fired for over 4000 (fourthousend) hours.
