The glove „Tradition“ by the french manufacturer Rostaing is made from smooth and water resistant calf leather.
A working glove is always a compromise between protection and comfort. The excellent leather of the Tradition is highly breathable, it ensures a high comfort while providing the tactile sense for handling small buckles and hooks, or even making knots.
In contact with water, you will keep dry hands for a long time, without the sweaty feel and smell of a rubber coated glove.
Even after complete saturation and drying, the leather keeps its smoothness.
All this predestines the Tradition glove for handling all sorts of wet and dirty stuff, even snow slush is no problem. The glove is also a good protection when handling sharp and hot metal pieces, like our stoves and firebowls.
The leather originates from France, the sewing is done in Morocco, with a very durable polyamide thread.
After testing these gloves over a period and during any sort of work, like bushcrafting, sawmilling, bricklaying, gardening and so on, we are convinced of the quality and the value of the Rostaing Tradition.
For choosing the fitting size of your Rostaing Tradition Gloves please measure the width of your palm as shown in the sketch and order the gloves in the equivalent size.
Some customers report, that from their point of view the gloves tend to fall out rather bigger than smaller.
