The segments of this tentpole are made from beautiful, fine grained ash wood, and have a diameter of 35mm.
To provide a slack free fit of the segments, they are precisely cut to a specific angle. When downward pressure is applied, the connections will be pressed to the wall of the massive aluminum fittings, and slack will be eliminated. After taking the pressure from the pole, the segments can be detached with ease.
The end segments are sharpened to 25mm diameter, and all sorfaces are treated with linseed oil.
We recommend the 240cm pole for the Tschum 4P models.
Packing measures of the standard version is 68cm. The 240cm pole weighs around 1500g.
