Attention - Upgrade!
This model is now supplied additionally with our Base Plate (Sand and Snow) and an additional Ash Grate at no extra cost.
You can flexibly add these options to your stove in practice or leave them at home and take it with you in the lightest possible minimum configuration.
At just ~ 2269 g, the collapsible W.STOVE Titanium Tent Wood Stove, including a 2 m rollable chimney pipe, is remarkably lightweight and compact enough to easily fit in a backpack - weight without Base Plate (243 g) and Ash Grate (210 g).

We have tested several demountable stoves and the W.STOVE from South Korean manufacturer Wild Wild West is our first choice.
The assembly is a bit more complicated than other models, but that is more than compensated by the material quality, weight, packing size and overall useability of the stove.

The body's construction is surprisingly airtight, enabling effective regulation of venting and providing greater control over the fire.
As a result, longer burns are achievable per lay, with less wood being consumed and a more consistent temperature being maintained inside the tent.

The shutterproof glass window, manufactured in Germany, emits a delightful ambient glow within the tent. This effect is amplified considerably by the increased size of the side view panels, which now measure 25 x 7,5 cm. Furthermore, these panels allow you to monitor the stove's contents without necessitating frequent openings.
In a nutshell, the stove is a source of light, warmth and comfort without the drawbacks of an open fire inside the tent.

The updated W.STOVEs boast a more sturdy, one-piece Pipe Connector that attaches to the stove body with three knurled screws. From above, the Collapsible Chimney Pipe can be inserted into the connector, whilst the Spark Arrestor can be fitted to a slit from the side.
At this location, the Spark Arrestor does not provide complete protection as soot can still build up inside the flue and may be ejected from it. However, we believe that this is a reasonable compromise as the arrestor still captures large, dangerous sparks that attempt to escape the burning chamber. It can also be cleaned easily during operation in this position.
 
Further revisions to the stoves have involved the diameter of the chimney, which has been changed by the manufacturer to 6,0 cm. However, the size change is not determined by the Rollable Chimney Pipe as such, but by the smaller diameter of the new Pipe Rings (Ø 6,0 cm) and the new Pipe Connector (Ø 6,0 cm). To that effect the Spark Arrestor has also been reduced to 6,0 cm.

For models with side windows, the glass screen in the side panel has been significantly enlarged (25 x 7,5 cm).
Our recently developed and lightweight Pipe Outlet, measuring 6,0 cm and consisting of spring steel, offers supplementary insulation for the Rollable Chimney Pipes. This is essential to protect our Tschum tents from damage by the heat of the stove.
So the W.STOVESs can be used in virtually any tent with minimal additional weight, no matter if the tent offers a built in stove jack or not.

All our W.STOVEs come with Titanium Rollable Chimneys, which are lighter and more durable than the cheaper and heavier stainless steel pipes.
