Spread the Tschum 1P on the ground, so that the guying points are on the top, and the accessory hooks are on the bottom.
All guypoints should be adjusted to half length, to have allowance in both directions later on.
The front guyline can be detached, and be clipped between the two front accessory hooks as a guide for the right distance of the first two pegs.
Instead of using the line, the pole can simply be put in place temporarily to define the proper peg distance.
If a longer pole of up to 150cm is used to increase the length of the tent, that is necessary anyway.
The two front pegs are placed first.
The third peg is placed in a way which creates a trianlge, keep the tension quite low at this stage.
When the first three pegs are in the right position, the pole gets inserted, and the front line is staked in place.
At last, the two back pegs are set, and during a walkaround all the guypoints are adjusted to optimal tension.
Tip: The back should be oriented at a slight angle against the wind.
