Build an individual tent from the ModulTschum tarpaulins!
The foundation of the ModulTschum is the Modul_1 tarp.
A single Modul_1 can be pitched as a half-pyramid or lean-to shelter, to protect a single person against rain and weather.
In front of the shelter a Hobo or an open fire can provide warmth and a cooking opportunity.
When choosing the materials, we placed the eyemark on quality and local origin.
The ~300g/sqm pure cotton canvas is woven in Germany and equipped in the Netherlands.
Natural materials can be applied for differnt piching methods, to match any situation.
Two pieces Modul_1 can be combined to a pyramid tent.
The Modul_1 can be folded and stowed in the pouch with ease. The overall weight (incl. pack sack) is 1860g.
In the floorplans we drew a horizontal cut in 30cm height, to better illustrate the available space.
The red dashed lines represent the size of a size III (the largest) polish military tarpaulin for size reference.

- Two Modul_1 tarps can be zipped together to construct a fully-fletched and versatile tent, that offers a 360° protection for two persons.
- Like every Tschum tent, which provides easy setup and extraordinary stability in high winds.
- Large-dimenioned two way zippers and the ingenious zip cover guarantee a fast, tight and durable connection.
- Modules can be combined in any order, all zippers and covers match.
- Rugged loops are placed inside and outside the tips. All straps are woven in germany from polyamide, for superior abrasion and cold resistance.
- The Modul_1 is delivered with 4pcs "Lineloc3" tensioners and matching precut polyamide Guyropes.
- According to the preferences, the guylines can be tied directly to the tarps guypoints, or the tensioners can be built in.
- The raised position of the guypoints creates a sort of snowflaps, which enables easy tightening between the tarp and the ground.
- Every Modul is delivered with a storage bag, but without pole and pegs, which can be found in the ModulTschum accessories.
