By means of this adapter you can optionally alter your W.STOVE to an open fire place or barbeque by swapping the adapter for the upper part of the stove.
You can pack it without problems in the transport bag of the stove.
Additionally you can also use the Fire Square Adapter as an ultralight base plate. But admittedly the propper
Base Plate (Sand and Snow) prevents the subsidence in soft ground a great deal better.
